Hello. How is Blacky acting? Is she relaxed & eating & drinking well? Has there been any vaginal discharge, other than the occasional drip of mucous? Average pregnancies are 63 days, but not all dogs will adhere to the same schedule. If you are concerned, it would be best to have Blacky examined to see if she is indeed pregnant ( could this have been a false pregnancy? ), or do an ultrasound examination to make sure the fetuses are all normal & not in distress. If she seems to be feeling well, & there is no unusual discharges or behaviors, I might give her another day or so to see if she goes into labor on her own. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
