Why did my budgie throw up clear liquid after drinking water?

Hi. Today I noticed that my bird just vomitted white clear liquid. This was the first time my bird ever did it. My budgie did it right after it drank lots of water. I'm not sure what is happening. Please help. I will really appreciate your advice and recommendation. Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male

It can be normal for a bird to regurgitate food food or liquid from time to time so I would not be too overly concerned. If the regurgitation continues or Sunny stops wanting to eat and/or his stools are abnormal you may want to have him checked out. It sounds like in this instance that Sunny may have drank too much water too quickly and then regurgitated. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
