What if my pregnant dog took NexGard by mistake? Is she okay?

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Female | unspayed | 5 years and 1 month old | 60 lbs

I gave my 3 week pregnant dog next guard by mistake. What can I do.

While the safe use of NexGard in pregnant, breeding or lactating dogs has not been evaluated, I have not yet heard any specifically adverse effect of Nexguard in pregnant dogs. You have a choice: If you are afraid it may affect the puppies, you can go to a PetER and have the vet give her apomorphine to regurgitate the Nexgard, This will only work, if she ingested it within the past two hours. Or you can do nothing and hope all is well.
