My cat recently lost her kittens. Why is she growling and upset?

i just rescued a part siamese pregnant cat. She gave birth to 5 kittens whom all died. She is walking around growling. Is this a sign of an emergency? Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Female | unspayed | 8 lbs
