Why is my dog's stomach hard, drinking lots, vomiting, and lethargic?

My dog is acting very unusual. His stomach feel harder than usual and this morning he drank two bowls of water excessively before he even touched his food. His fecal matter was very small compared to usual. He puked a couple times earlier this week. He's usually very hyper but now he just wants to sleep. He seemed restless last night and I thought he just had to use the bathroom, after I took him out he continued to wine as if he needed to go out but when he went out he did nothing. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 20 lbs
