My dog limps on his back leg, not putting weight, but runs fine?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 11 months and 3 days old | 18 lbs

Hi I need help. My dog is limping on his left back leg. He seems fine when he is running around. But walking he is limping and standing still he isn't putting any weight on it.

Hi! Thanks for entrusting us with Roly's care today! Lameness can be a sign of a few things that range from a muscle sprain to even a fracture. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian so that this can be further assessed which will likely include radiographs. Treatment will be dependent on findings though at the very least pain control medications can be prescribed. Good luck! Hoping for a speedy recovery!
