My cat's URI sneezing won't stop. What should the vet check?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 9 years and 3 months old | 9 lbs

Dr. Melanie: Okay thank you , Dr. Melanie! Good thing is I've been giving her the l-lysine for the past couple of months now , hoping it will help her . I read that with uri's, the sneezing can linger for weeks ? When I take her in anything u think I should have them check or do ? Thank you again

Hi Laila, I'm glad to help you! Depending on how long the virus takes to clear her system, it can be a few weeks before she is feeling better. The vet can check her over with a physical exam if she's still showing signs of a URI, and can discuss if there are any medications that may help with her symptoms. Best of luck :-)
