My older dog runs from new puppy. How do I introduce them safely?

i am facing a problem regarding introducing a new German shepherd pup to my home. Actually i already have a 4 year old labrador who is not so socialised therefore he tends to run away when the new pup approaches him and continues to flight. What to do!?. Please help!!!

This will take time of gradual introduction with the puppy. You can try and keep them separated for 2-3 weeks and gradually increase the time that they are around each other. Take them on walks together to help get them used to each other. I would also introduce the puppy's bedding or any other items that have the puppy's smell on them with your labrador to get him used to the smell. You can also try using an Adaptil collar on him, which can be found online quite easily, and see if this helps.
