Why is my 5-week kitten frail, has matted eyes, and twitching legs?

My 5 week old kitten is extremely tiny, frail, and her eyes are matted shut several times a day. Plus she will just start screaming out of nowhere and her back legs will twitch for like 5 minutes so just raise them up real high and jerk and then she's fine again. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 3 lbs

It sounds like Doodles is very sick. The eye discharge could be due to an eye infection from a bacteria or a virus. However, the weakness and the leg twitching could suggest either a parasitic infection or a congenital problem. I strongly recommend you have Doodles examines by your veterinarian right away.
