Riley has a yeast infection in his ears but today I looks like cauliflower noticed a thing on his hip

Thank you for submitting your question. It is a little difficult to say without seeing a picture, but it sounds like he has a skin growth on his hip. Dogs can develop wart like growths. They generally are not problematic. The ear infection will need to be treated if it is not being so already. If so, you can ask about the hip growth at his recheck appointment.
