Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 6 months old | 3.2 lbs

Hi. I have a female cat which is only 6 month. She has a noice in her nose which sounds like tiny whisper. I showed her to different vets but 2 of them said if there is no runny nose then there is no problem. One is said that she got cold a little and gave an antibiotic for 5 days. I used it but it couldnt work and noise is going on. Sometimes while she is sleeping I listen then I hear that kinda whisper noice from her nose. Is she get cold or could have an illness? Please help me. Thanks.

This could be due to an upper respiratory infection or it could be a structural problem with the nasal passage. Another option is a foreign body that is stuck in the nose. If the clinical signs persist and there is no improvement with medications, the veterinarian will need to look up the nose with a camera to see what could be going on.
