My dog's eyes are green and swollen. Should I give him Benadryl?

I think its just allergies but I have no idea. He’s got green goo around his eyes and one of them is swollen I think because hes been scratching at it. What should I do and should I give him Benadryl? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 1 year and 9 months old | 100 lbs

I would try Vetericyn Antimicrobial Ophthalmic Gel, which you can find at PetCo. Use this as directed on the bottle and if there is no improvement or the eyes worsen, I would recommend having Roscoe examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made.
