Can I feed my newborn kitten goat milk instead of milk replacer?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Male | 12 days old | 1lb

My newborn was not eating the milk replacer. I bought primal goats milk and has been eating great. Can I continue to give it goats milk or switch to something else.

You should slowly replace the goats milk with the kitten milk until it is completely replaced. Kitten milk, whether the liquid or powder you need to prepare, has everything a kitten needs to grow properly, whereas goats milk is great but not the exact composition required for kittens.
