I am sorry to hear about Sam. It sounds like he is not feeling well at all. There are many different possible causes of vomiting in dogs. Some of the most common include ingestion of foreign objects, pancreatitis, ingestion of toxins, gastroenteritis, and more. You can read about vomiting at https://www.petcoach.co/article/vomiting-in-dogs/ . Due to the fact that he is very lethargic I would recommend taking him in to see a vet as soon as possible- to an emergency clinic if one is in your area if you feel he is very lethargic and continues to vomit. Do not offer anymore food and water tonight as he will likely just vomit it back up. The vet will examine him and may recommend x-rays or bloodwork to help determine a cause for vomiting and will most likely give injectable medication to stop the vomiting and IV fluids to help rehydrate poor Same.
