My dog bit vet, unvaccinated, quarantined. When can I get her back?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 12 years old | 65 lbs

So I went to go put my dog to sleep at a vet and the veterinarian got bit by my dog and she hasn’t hade her shot since April 5 and she is in quarantine and I wanted to know if I could get her back

The problem here is that there is a suspicion that your dog could have rabies since she did not have her vaccines in time and bit the vet, This is why she is in quarantine. There are two ways to find out whether the dog is rabid: 1) quarantine for 10 to 15 days or to euthanize the dog and have the brain examined in a laboratory. SInce you went to the vet to have Princess euthanized anyway, I do not understand why they quarantined her and did not euthanize her and sent in the head. Unfortunately they will not give you the dog before quarantine is up.
