My pup succumbed to parvo and he survived. He has steadily been recovering bt i am worried about his hind legs - they are weak and he struggles to stand up and he spends most of his time sleeping. It has been 2 weeks now since he was discharged frm the animal clinic. Is this a normal side effect of parvo and will he eventualy fully recover. I also notices hs back is slightly arched.

That is not normal for pups recovering from parvovirus. I recommend an evaluation with a rehab veterinarian if there is one in your area. They can give you exercises to strengthen the rear legs and determine if it’s from a back or leg problem or just weakness from the diesease. The sooner you get him up and standing and walking the better since the muscles and ligaments need weight bearing and movements to get stronger.
