This is Robin, she is a 2-year-old black lab. We think she might be pregnant. We do have a boy black lab, that is not fixed that could have mated with her but we are not sure. We have been told this could be a false pregnancy, but she keeps gaining weight so, we think she actually is pregnant. Any advice? Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 1 month old | 65 lbs

Considering you also have an intact male in the house, it is very likely that Robin is pregnant. You should take her to your vet for an x-ray r ultrasound to determine how many puppies she will have so you can properly monitor her when she is giving birth. A dog's pregnancy lasts between 58 and 68 days (63-65 days on average) so when you think back when she stopped bleeding during her last heat, you can pretty much figure out when she will have her babies.
