Is my 5-month-old hyper puppy's constant running and chasing normal?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 25 days old | 1lb

My puppy Chihuahua is 5 months old he has always been hyper but the older he has gotten the more every he has and much more space, he is so fast it's hard to catch him to call him down, he is always trying to hype up his brother yo chase him also. Is this chasing and running fast Ok? He is never calm with toys.

It sounds like Phoenix is an energetic puppy! Some puppies are more playful and energetic than others. Chasing and running around with other dogs should be fine for him, we don't recommend taking your dog on a run with you until they are full grown, but play running is fine. I would recommend working on training him to come when called in case you do need to catch him though. Taking Phoenix on walks daily may also help to release some of his pent up energy.
