My foster kitten is sick, and milk comes out its nose. What can I do?

I am fostering two young neonate kittens about 2 to 3 weeks old. They have URI and one is very very congested. When I try to feed him milk I see it come out his nose no matter how slowly I feed. I am afraid he may aspirate but he is the smallest and needs nutrients from the milk. What can I do?

Oh goodness. This is very concerning for a cleft palate. I would highly encourage you to reach out to the organization and have them schedule you an appointment with their veterinarian. This is a very dangerous and serious condition. Best of luck and I hope you have an answer soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
