Pet's info: Dog | Labradoodle | Male | neutered | 120 lbs
Hey there! My dog had a rabies shot one week ago and he doesn’t seem very well. He seems very lethargic and somewhat sad. He still eats and drinks normally and likes his walks but he seems off. Do you think it is because of his shot? He is 8. Also, we are selling the house so for the past two weeks he was with my dad but is now home. Do you think he is upset about being moved? Please let me know

Sometimes vaccines can cause dogs to feel a bit groggy, a bit like a person getting their inoculations. However it doesn't tend to be that pronounced. Dogs are very sensitive to new environments and stress so so wouldn't be surprised if a lot of it is down to the changes occurring. Whilst he is eating and drinking normally I wouldn't worry too much. However if he deteriorates or dies not return to his usual self in a few days it would be best to get him examined.
