Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 15 years and 3 months old | 11.6 lbs
Hello my cat Ora is 15-16 years, she is a indoor cat mostly. In all her years she has only had one health problem, for the last 9 she has been a fat cat but that has never given her problems. In the last 5 months she’s been having breathing difficulties. It was small at first, but with time it got worse. In the last 7 days I have noticed it becoming harder and harder by the day. Today I started hearing gurgling sounds with she breathed.

Poor Ora! She needs to be examined by a vet as soon as possible to determine the cause and treat. She could have an infection, asthma, heart disease, etc. and your vet can take an x-ray, if needed, to help diagnose and then determine the best treatment plan. IF she is having trouble breathing then you should take her to an emergency clinic tonight so treatment can be started. Hope she feels better soon!
