When to vaccinate and deworm 8-week-old kittens and boost immunity?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 17 days old

My kittens are 8 weeks old. When is the right time to get them vaccinated and dewormed. I want to make sure they are healthy enough to survive FVRCP vaccine side effects. Also what is a good immunity boosting medicine/food I should be feeding my cats for boosting their immunity. Currently I am giving them mybeau for cats 3 times a week.

Kittens should have their first set of vaccines between 6-8 weeks of age, so I would schedule an appointment as soon as possible. They can be dewormed as young as two weeks of age, so I would definitely go ahead and do this as well. I would recommend feeding a good quality kitten food such as Hills Science Diet or Royal Canin - these foods are complete and balanced, and contain all the nutrition needed for a growing kitten.
