Why is my dog throwing up brown, ground beef-like vomit now?

Hi my dog threw up Monday and was fine all the rest of the day and all day Tuesday. Now, at 1 am on Wednesday morning, she just threw up again, light brown, almost poop colored, and looked almost like ground beef. First photo is from Monday. We thought it was maybe the wet food we gave her on Sunday. Then today she got out of her kennel and we have no idea what she may have eaten, other than her normal dog food. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 11 months and 7 days old | 10 lbs

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Eris. Poor girl. It could be something she ate, but it could also be a GI illness. Feed her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If she vomits the bland diet, refuses to eat the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away.
