My sick outdoor cat is unhappy indoors. How to make them happy?

I have many cats and most of them stays outside during night. But when we have a sick cat, we don't let them go outside. My cat has been inside eversince he got sick. I think he is unhappy. What can I do to make a sick cat happy without going outside?

It could also be that feeling sick is making him unhappy. That tends to affect a cat's personality. Just keep him comfortable, and I'd set up a cat tree by a window that he can lay on and look outside.
