My puppy chewed a litter box freshener cube and is salivating.

My pup that is 3 1/2 months old got into my friends litter box and was chewing on a freshener cube for the litter. Salivating a lot now. Pet's info: Dog | Australian Cattle Dog | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 5 days old | 12 lbs

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about El. It sounds like this freshener cube has made her nauseous. Feed her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If she vomits the bland diet, refuses to eat the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away.
