My husky has seizures. Can I be her service person to provide care?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Female | spayed | 60 lbs

My female husky snowy has seizures...I know and have read about doggy seizures that's not what I'm asking...I wanna know because she's got seizures, is there any way I can be her service animal? Because I can tell when she's about to have a seizure... And she can't be left alone she needs supervision... Can I become her service person?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Snowy. While your idea is unconventional, I do not see why it wouldn't work! That being said, I recommend that she sees her veterinarian to determine if there is an identifiable cause of the seizures and if they are severe or frequent enough to warrant medication. I hope this information helps!
