My cat can't walk, rear legs injured. How to comfort him until vet?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 700 lbs

My ginger male cat is not able to walk as his rear legs are injured. Don't know how and what happened.No vet is available. Please suggest what should I do to comfort him till I get the vet.

Keep Jerry confined to a small room or large crate to limit any movement. Offer him water and food. Do not give him any human pain medications, as many are toxic to cats and are fatal if given. Have him seen by a vet asap.
