Why are my fish's fins fraying? Is it fin rot? Can Melafix help?

Dempsey’s fins are fraying and I cannot figure out why. All levels are normal, she is recovering from ammonia and ph induced stress, could this be a bacterial infection? Would melafix help her recover? Pet's info: Fish | Cichlid | Female | unspayed | 4 years and 8 months old
