Dear Vet, Ihave 2Q. See attached Pic. Of red dot maybe a (plump/bump) appeared few months ago inside her ear. Color was bright red then changed to purple. It's getting bigger but its size is still less then 1cm. Any advice on what tests I should do to determine it? Or if you are able to recognize it? B) a serious struggle with her ears shakes almost after she barks and moans when I rub them. No infection found. I tried '' Ears dry cleaner'' but the prob still goes on. Thank you for your time!

Hello. Because of this lesions' change in size & color, I would recommend just having it removed. It looks like a melanoma, but would need histopathology to definitively diagnose it. It is small so removal should be pretty easy. This would be a good time to have your veterinarian take a good look deep into Moka's ears. You may not see any infection, but there could be inflammation or even a foreign body like a grass awn down near the ear drum. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
