How old should my cat be to go outside? Are frogs or toads dangerous?

How old until I can let my cats outside? Is it dangerous for my cats if there are frogs around?

I personally never recommend letting cats outside. I've seen too many cats hit by cars or attacked by other animals. But it is your choice, and I don't recommend letting them outside until they are older, around a year. Frogs aren't dangerous to cats, but some species of toads are.
