My budgie threw up. Why is my parakeet vomiting? Should I worry?

Hi, and thanks for your question. These signs could be compatible with an inflammation/ infection of the gastrointestinal system and surrounding organs (like pancreas and liver). A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is immediately essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed.     Thanks for reaching out about Marley Romans. Vomiting has many causes including foreign body ingestion and blockage, toxicities (heavy metals, plants, teflon exposure), metabolic disorders (liver, kidney), infections (bacterial, viral) and others. A veterinary visit is recommended to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Providing heat support in the 80-85 F range can give some aid but is not in lieu of a veterinary visit. If continues to regurgitate, an emergency visit this evening is recommended. Good luck.
