We just got a new cat that we got from a friend of ours. Her name is Callie and she’s 5 years old. She’s hiding under the table rn and we can’t seem to go past her without her growling, hissing, and meowing and walking towards us. What should we do? She won’t allow us to walk down the hallway. That's tough! I'd leave her be and ignore her. If you can get her into her room, I would try to do that. Make sure there is food, water, and a litter box in there. Letting her adjust to a small room will help this transition.
