My 2.5 year old persian female cat( spayed and vaccinated) was all fine till one of my heavy male Persian jumped on her when they were playing. Post which she is walking a normal with more frequent walks, no swelling or limping, food intake is ok. When we touch her corner side between both the legs she is meowing and trying to bite. Can you please advice? I will be taking her to vet but it's always good to get an expert opinion so that I will be more presented. Thanks. God Bless.

Hello. It is impossible to say exactly what might be going on, but we should rule out the possibility of a bruised rib or small fracture. Your veterinarian may need to clip some hair down to the skin to see what things look like. It is good that everything else is well with her so it does not sound like there is anything serious. But if your vet suggests an x-ray, this might be a good idea. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
