My cat's tick squished, saw grey sludge. Is this normal? What is it?

Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Female | spayed

My cat had a tick - its contents were squished into her on accident during removal. The ticks inner contents were a GREY SLUDGE. Is this normal? It was only 1/4th full or 1/3rd done feeding. What is the grey sludge? Shouldn't it be blood? (The head didnt come out).

The black/grey (it is normal) substance is a mix of abdomen organs and their content (gastrointestinal system and gonads). Disinfect the are with with very diluted hibiscrub or betadine or salted water baths for 4-5 days. If the head is not removed, it should be done ideally by your local vet.
