My dog has bumps on the roof of her mouth that aren't going away.

10 month old female catahoula lepord hound. I'm very concerned about legions on the roof of her mouth. There was one now there is two.. they arnt going away

Hello. You should have this evaluated by your veterinarian as it might be eosinophilic esophagitis/pharyngitis, a possible autoimmune or allergy driven condition. It is more commonly seen in northern breeds ( ie Husky ), but I have seen this in mixed breeds, too. Most respond to a course of prednisone, some lesions need to be removed with laser ablation. It is possible that Harlie snapped at a bee & was stung on the roof of his mouth, but I think you vet should be made aware of this. It is not an indication of anything very serious, but we do feel dogs do feel some discomfort with them.
