What causes a dog to choke on mucus with a runny nose and allergies?

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | unspayed | 4 years and 8 months old | 5 lbs

Toodie has been having breathing issues, it seems she might be choking on mucus from her sinuses. When it happens she get a serious runny nose it seems that what blocking her airway. I’ve seen trachea Collapse before and it don’t fit with this. She does have allergies and a history of respiratory infection. Could you please tell me what I might be seeing. Thanks

It could be Toodie has a respiratory infection, or she could have a fungal infection, foreign body, or growth in her nose causing these issues. I would have her seen by a vet in the morning for her problem.
