Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Female | spayed | 3 months and 13 days old | 5 lbs
My kitten had a fecal test done on saturday and since then has been licking her anus religiously. Today I took her to the vet because she had been throwing up and having excessive diarrhea and the vet ruled that it was probably bacteria and I was given antibiotics. Even my older cat has been trying to clean that area though. Should I be concerned about this cleaning? I didn't mention it to the vet because I didn't think anything of it. They did xrays and blood tests for the issue mentioned prior

There are a number of different causes of diarrhea, and not all of them are contagious. I'd keep an eye on your other cat and have her see a vet if she has the same symptoms. Keep her from licking Artemis's anus to be safe.
