My puppy is throwing up and has diarrhea. Should I call the vet?

My puppy threw up all his dinner a day after in the morning. After having diarrhea every two hours after 2am. Does this have anything to do with the doce of pyrantel I gave him 6 days ago? Even though yesterday he did normal stools? Should I be concern? He’s always hungry and have lots of energy I was just surprised how he threw up and had diarrhea with some weard see thru mocus. Pet's info: Dog | Goldendoodle | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 21 days old | 50 lbs

Hello, I do not believe the pyrantel from 6 days ago would have any affect on today. Vomiting and diarrhea in a puppy could be commonly caused by infectious disease, such as parvovirus, or an intestinal obstruction, such as a swallowed toy stuck in the intestines. It would be helpful to know if Billy has had all of his vaccinations. I'd recommend an appointment with your vet. They can guide you best after a physical exam. If Billy becomes lethargic or uninterested in food, that would be a sign to get him to a veterinarian as soon as possible. I hope this helps.
