My senior chihuahua has bloody, inconsistent poop. What to do?

Hi! I have a problem. My chihuahua of 10 years is having poop problems. He’ll poop hard for a few days but the next day it’ll be diarrhea. Sometimes there would be blood and sometimes it’s normal. I don’t understand what’s happening. Please help. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | neutered
