My dog has a growing lump. What could it be and should I worry?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 3 years old | 160 lbs

My dog is a blue nose pit bull and he has had this growth for a couple of weeks and it has only gotten bigger but is there anychance you can give me some advice on what it might be.

Hello, thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Is that supposed to be the same growth in both photos? The growth if the first photo looks suspicious for a malignant tumor. The tissue around the mass is swollen and the mass itself is raised and ulcerated; both can be signs of a malignancy. I cannot tell you for sure though just by looking at a photo. The second photo looks like a benign wart. In general, any new lumps/bumps should be examined by your vet. The first photo looks worrisome and I think you should have it checked in the next few days.
