Pet's info: Small Animal | Hamster | Male | unneutered | 2 years old
My hamster took a big fall from my loft bed and he wasn't moving and was on his back. I gave him CPR and he jumped up and was running around. I snuggled him and put him in his cage. I'm wondering if I should be worried about anything. He didn't show any signs of being hurt but I just want to make sure. Also he is already two years old. Thank you!

Hello, A fall could cause a traumatic brain injury, a spinal injury, bone fractures, or internal bleeding. If Casper has returned to normal activity levels and is eating well, he is likely fine. If Casper becomes lethargic or disinterested in food, it may be a sign of illness or pain that he needs to be seen by a vet. I hope this helps.
