My senior dog with cancer seems constipated. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | 14 years and 5 months old | 70 lbs

Hello my yellow lab mix was diagnosed with cancer 3 weeks ago he's 15 yr he acts like he's constipated but he still goes #2 ok, vet gave me prednisolone i don't like the side effects he's in good health wht do i do to relieve his constipation

I hate to hear that about Gus. Here is a link about constipation including some at home care: https://www.petcoach.co/article/constipation-in-dogs-101-what-you-need-to-know/ I recommend to call your vet and ask if they know if there is a mass in the abdomen. Abdominal masses can cause blockages of the intestines. The vet may recommend to examine Gus again. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
