Is Dawn dish soap safe or effective for treating my cat's ear mites?

Can earmites be killed with Dawn dish liquid? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 3 years and 5 months old | 8 lbs

Hello. I would not recommend putting soap in your cats ears. You can purchase an ear mite remedy at most pet retailers, but you might want to have your veterinarian take a look first. Many times when people think their pet has ear mites, it is actually an infection, foreign body ( like grass awn ) or allergies. These all will require different treatments or remedies.
