How can you tell if your female dog who is in heat has had sex? Her vagina looks more swollen than usual. She got loose last night and i had to catch her so just making sure. Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 3 months old | 50 lbs

Hello, It is not possible to tell if a dog has had sex. The vulva, or external female genitalia, experiences normal swelling during the heat cycle.
