My German Shepherd puppy is very thin and low weight. He is currently 7 weeks old now and his ears are not a little erect as well. I am confused whether he is pure breed or not. What should I do ? Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | 1 month and 12 days old | 4.4 lbs

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Oscar. I recommend that he sees a veterinarian. His fluffy hair coat makes it difficult to assess his weight from a picture. He will be examined, dewormed and started on his vaccines and likely heartworm prevention as well. His weight and diet can be discussed as well. I would not expect his ears to stand up for several weeks yet. I hope this information helps!
