My dog ate string, now has diarrhea and is lethargic. What's wrong?

My 16 month old American staffy pooed out about .5m of rope/string yesterday. She then last night pooed inside which she would never usually do and the Poo was half solid and half almost liquid. She stayed in her kennel all day with no motivation to do anything where she usually is very active and excited to see anyone. Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 4 months old | 88 lbs
