My dog has hair loss and scabs. What else can I try for his skin?

Hi!my dog suffers from hair loss and (multi-focal) and scabs on his chest and back. vet gave him miconazole shampoo and madre de cacao soap .showed little improvement. Is there anything else that i could give/do to him to improve his condition? Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund (Miniature Smooth Haired) | Male | neutered | 9 lbs

It looks like he has mange. What you are doing for treatment won't hurt but it won't help either if mange is the diagnosis. I cannot diagnosis him from a photo. I suggest you ask your vet about the possibility of mange and get testing/treatment for that.
