The amount to feed a pet is dependent upon the' pet's activity level, metabolism and the calories found in the diet. The back of the dog food package will list how much to feed the 'average' dog. Since Amber is only 10 month's old, she should still be eating a puppy formula until she is one year old and then she can transition to an adult formula. The brand Royal Canin is an excellent food and it's puppy formulas will recommend to amount to feed based upon size and age (so it's a little more exact). I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
