Should I avoid chicken jerky treats for my dog due to past issues?

what are your thoughts on the chicken jerky scare involving brands like waggin train, milos kitchen, canyon creek, cadet, etc. are these brands dangerous for dogs and should they be avoided? Please explain, as there has been a lot of confusion regarding this subject. Thank you. Should ALL jerky be avoided at this point? Pet's info: Dog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Female | spayed | 7 years and 3 months old | 17 lbs

This was a problem back in 2014/2015. Is that what you are referring to? I think they have resolved the issue. I have not heard of any recent problems. I would only give treats made in the USA. I believe the ones causing issues were made in China. If it were my dogs, I would make my own treats instead of buying them.
