My dog's eye is worse after cherry eye surgery. What should I do?

Max had cherry eye surgery to tuck in the eyelid 9/9/19 ever the day after pink puffiness was in the corner of his eye. They prescribed rimadyl 2xday vetropolycin 3xday for 10 days. Recheck with vet last Sunday worried he wasn’t healing they noted eye infection continue eye ointment yesterday he woke up squinting surgery eye and other eye droopy. She said surgery site looked good. Checked for scratches. No scratched found. Have eyedrops for dialating. Stronger meds he wakes up looking worse toda

I agree you need to be worried. Squinting of the eye means there is pain. So either his pain is not being controlled well or there is something bothering him in the eye (like a suture from the surgery). I don't know if you are using a veterinary eye specialist but if not, you should consider taking Max to see one for a second opinion. There is an eye specialist about 30 minutes from your zip code.
